Pretty

Standard

I watched this today and had to share how powerful it is! Katie Makkai, a poetry slammer, defines the word “Pretty”. I believe that the word “pretty” truly is more of an opinion than anything else. How can you define what is pretty? Its all subjective.

Isn’t imperfections what make us unique? They are what make us all so pretty, so interesting and so different. At least, thats what I believe. What do you guys think? Should we be raising our children in seeing all of themselves as pretty? What kind of people would they turn out to be? Would we all be happier?

I wish woman around the world would would watch this, believe this, and live it.
